A former graduate student is suing her alma mater over a C-plus she got in chemistry.

Megan Thode, now 27, claims in the lawsuit against Lehigh University that the grade she received in 2009 ruined her dream of becoming a licensed counselor, The Daily Caller reported.

She's suing for $1.3 million, alleging breach of contract and sexual discrimination.

According to the lawsuit, Thode says the C-plus was the last in a series of efforts by Lehigh to force her out of the graduate degree program.

Neil Hamburg, an attorney for Lehigh University, called the claims nonsense.

The daughter of a Lehigh finance professor, Thode was attending the Pennsylvania school tuition-free and continued to pursue a master’s degree in a similar field for free even after the C-plus grade left her ousted from the original program, The Morning Call newspaper reported.
