Edgewood wins WIAA Div. 2 state swimming title

The Edgewood boys swimming team captures its first WIAA Division 2 state swimming title Friday night at the UW-Natatorium.

The Crusaders 200-yard medley relay team won in 1:36.89, which is the fifth fastest time in Division 2 history.

Edgewood's Zack Parkin won the 50 free in 20.92, just .33 seconds off the Division 2  state record.

The Crusaders 200 free style relay came close to history. The time of 1:26.29 is the second fastest in Division 2 history.
