Edgewood advanced to the State Tournament for the third time in four years, and for the second year in a row, finish as the Division Two Runner-up. East Troy defeated the Crusaders 3-0 in Satuday's D2 Final.

The Trojans came into Saturday's match a perfect 43-0 on the season, but absent from the State Tournament for the last 26 years. They played without nerves in the first set, winning 25-11. M.E. Dodge led the way for the Trojans, slamming Crusaders with 14 thunderous kills during the match.

The match didn't get any easier for Edgewood as they dropped the second set 25-14, and the third  25-11.

The Trojans are the first undefeated state champion in three years.
