Donald A. Kemmerling

Donald A. Kemmerling, 82, of rural Jefferson, passed away Wednesday, April 02, 2014 after a brief battle with cancer.

Donald was born on June 17, 1931 in Milwaukee, son of the late August and Evelyn (Zink) Kemmerling. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson.

Donald was a Korean War Veteran and a 60 year member of the Paul Frank Florine Post #166 American Legion in Fort Atkinson. Donald was also a dairy farmer for 36 years.

He is survived by his brothers, Ronald of rural Jefferson and Robert (Beverly) of Thousand Oaks, CA; nieces, Cindy (Brandon) Dieter of Carlsbad, CA and Katherine Toth of Simi Valley, CA; three great nieces, Grace and Hope Dieter and Cadence Toth; three great nephews, Austin Toth and Mason and Jaymison Paliewicz.

Following his wishes, there will be no service.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Rainbow Hospice.

The Dunlap Memorial Home is assisting the family.
