Dodgers stop Brewers 3-1

Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier homered and Clayton Kershaw pitched a complete game three hitter over eight innings as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 3-1 at Miller Park Monday night.

Ethier started the scoring with a triple to right field in the top of the second inning that scored Kemp.

After Nori Aoki had an RBI ground out in the third, Ethier hit his fourth homer of the year to right off Brewers starter Yovani Gallardo.

Kemp then hit a long homer to left center in the sixth-only his second home run of the season.

Kershaw (5-2) kept the Brewers off-balance all night long pitching his 10th career complete game, allowing only one run and striking out four.

Gallardo (3-4) pitched six innings allowing eight hits and three runs. He walked one and struck out seven.
