Div. 1 Football Playoffs: Middleton Tops Memorial

MIDDLETON, Wis. -

Middleton beat Memorial 28-14 in the first round of the WIAA Football playoffs.

Middleton led 14-0 at the half thanks to Kasey Miller's touchdown pass to Derek Rongstad.

The Cardinals added to their lead in the third quarter when Charles Braxton scored on a 1 yard to make it 21-0 Middleton.

Memorial pulled within 7, at 21-14 in the second half but Middleton gets the win.

Middleton plays Oconomowoc in round two next Friday.
