MADISON-Diane R. Warner-Evans of Madison, unexpectedly left her failing body and went to heaven on Saturday, July 20, 2013.

She was born on Jan. 2, 1960, in Madison. Diane graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1978, prior to completing three degrees at MATC, where she graduated with honors. She married Thomas Evans in 1985, and they had two loving daughters, Arielle and Alana. Diane gave up her career to raise her daughters while maintaining an at home daycare. She loved every daycare child like her own. After her daughters were grown, she began working for TDS. Diane would always come home with warm stories of her customers and coworkers. When her health allowed, Diane was a frequent volunteer with her TDS coworkers. She enjoyed spending time with her family, from baking cookies to cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Diane was a beautiful, compassionate, and intelligent woman who went out of her way to help as many people as she could.

Diane is survived by her husband, Tom; daughters, Arielle and Alana of Madison; mother, Sharron Reynolds; sisters, Debbie Zimmerman and Doreen Phillips; brothers, Dale Warner, Dean Warner, and David Reynolds; mother-in-law, Mitsuko Evans; brother-in-law, George (Karen) Evans; many nieces and nephews; and anyone whose life was touched by her loving nature. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil and Pearl Daugherty; father-in-law, Robert; father, Richard; and brother-in-law, Jeff Phillips.

A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013.
