Deputies: Crash leads to 7th offense OWI arrest

TOWN OF DELTON, Wis. -

A single vehicle crash led to the arrest of a Lake Delton man on suspicion of seventh-offense operating while intoxicated, according to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they found a vehicle in a ditch when they responded to Birchwood Road near Trout Road in the town of Delton at 3:20 a.m. on Sunday for a report of a single vehicle crash.

The driver, Orrin T. Cloud, 42, failed field sobriety tests, according to deputies.

Cloud was also arrested on suspicion of operating after suspension of registration, operating left of center and operating a vehicle without insurance.
