Dean M. Zoesch

Dean M. Zoesch, age 52, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at University Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

He was born on March 9, 1961, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Donald and Marjorie (Thorsen) Zoesch. After graduating from Kettle Moraine High School, Dean earned his Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Wis.-Platteville.

He was employed with Varco-Pruden Buildings for over 15 years. Dean's interests revolved around sports, enjoying golf, baseball, and boating. He was a member of the Madison Curling Club and volunteered for the Iron Man of Madison.

In addition to his parents Donald and Marjorie, survivors include his sisters, Dawn (Marty) Boulanger and Dyan (Dennis) Piller; his brother, David (Denise), nieces and nephews, Natalie and Connor Zoesch and David, Danielle, and Danae Piller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 602 Everglade Dr., Madison, at 11:00 am on Friday, May 31, 2013, with Monsignor Donald Heiar presiding. We will have a special time with family & friends to celebrate his life after the service. Please come and join us.

Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Phillips, WI. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been set up at the UW Carbone Cancer Center, University of Wisconsin Hospital, 600 Highland Ave., Madison, WI, 53797, Dean Zoesch Fund.
