STOUGHTON, Wis. -

Daniel J. Larsen, age 65, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. He was born on May 28, 1948, the son of Gilbert and LaVonne Larsen. Dan graduated from Stoughton High School in 1966. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968 and served his country for two years, stationed in Frankfurt, Germany.

Following the service, Dan attended the WI School of Electronics. He worked as a Service Technician for several companies and retired from Video Jet Technologies in June 2013 after 28 years. Dan enjoyed life and the outdoors, especially playing golf, horseshoes, and fishing. He is survived by his siblings, Kathy (Steve) Ellis, David, Dennis (Sharon), Doug and Doreen (Alan) Larson; nieces and nephews, Jason, Ben, Drew, Jessica, Nicole, Cody and Kyle. Dan was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton.

Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, immediately following the services, at the Stoughton American Legion. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
