Curt Douglas Krueger

JANESVILLE-Curt D. Krueger, age 42, of Janesville, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Edgerton on December 26, 1970, the son of Douglas and Shirley (Simonson) Krueger. Curt was a 1989 graduate of Parker High School and married Marilyn J. Brown on April 10, 1993 at Afton Community Church. He worked for Lear Seating from 1992 until the plant closed in 2008. He then worked for Farm & Fleet from 2011 until 2012 when his illness prevented him from working. Curt loved being involved with his daughters activities, was a coach for youth softball and basketball, namely the Janesville Lightning.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughter, Amber; parents, Doug and Shirley Krueger of Janesville; sister, Sue (Bill Jr.) Arnold of Clinton; 2 nephews, Dustin and Chase Arnold; mother-in-law, Linda (Wes) Bennett of Janesville; father-in-law, Larry (Judy) Brown of Janesville; brother-in-law, Pat (Ann) Brown of Iron Mt., MI; 3 nieces: Kathryn, Libby and Bella Brown; and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncles; and a sister-in-law, Janet Brown-Kitson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, Janesville with Rev. James Melvin officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Janesville. Memorials may be made in a college fund that will be set up for Amber or to Agrace Hospice.
