TOWN OF DUNKIRK, Wis. -

The Dane County Sheriff has arrested a Town of Dunkirk man on his sixth charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and disorderly conduct following a crash in his own driveway Wednesday night.

The incident happened just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 900 block of U.S. Highway 51 in the town of Dunkirk.

According to the sheriff's department, Robert Schmidt, 45, came to his home drunk and struck an RV that was parked on his property. This led to an argument with family members that led someone to call 911.

Schmidt was booked into the Dane County jail because of the OWI and the disorderly conduct charge.
