Officials responded to a crash on Highway 19 Saturday afternoon.

TOWN OF SPRINGFIELD, Wis. -

A Dodgeville woman was flown to University of Wisconsin Hospital and arrested after a suspected drunken driving crash in the town of Springfield.

Deputies were called to State Highway 19 and U.S. Highway 12 at 4:31 p.m. on Saturday for a report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries.

Investigators said a van driven by Danielle E. Abbott, 29, was traveling west on Highway 19 when she failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound car.

Abbott was flown to UW Hospital. The driver of the car and three passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital.

Abbott was arrested on suspicion of second-offense operating while intoxicated.
