Crash closes Beltline lanes during morning commute

MADISON, Wis. -

A multi-vehicle crash closed the two right lanes of the westbound Beltline near Whitney Way in Madison Thursday morning, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

A single lane of traffic remained open. Two lanes were opened by about 9 a.m. and the scene was cleared by 9:15 a.m.

The backups stretched to at least Todd Drive.

The crash was reported at 8:10 a.m.
