A road construction worker was struck during a traffic crash and flown to a hospital Friday morning, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to State Highway 26 near Wilson Road in the town of Clyman at 8:42 a.m. for a report of a crash.

A minivan driven by John Sparks, 67, of Cambria was traveling south on Highway 26 through a construction zone when slowed down as he approached a heavy equipment entrance, according to investigators.
