MADISON/ MONONA – Charles L. Schepp died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 87, on Saturday, May 11, 2013, after a brief bout with cancer.

He was born in Wausau on July 9, 1925. He married Matilda ‘Tooty’ E. Frey on June 28, 1947 in Roxbury. Charles was a wonderful husband to Tooty for over sixty-five years and a faithful Catholic at Immaculate Heart of Mary parish. He loved teasing his grandkids, always ready for a good time and an all around good hearted soul. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mabel Schepp; brother, Duane Schepp; granddaughters, Emily Schepp and Pamela Schepp; father and mother-in-law, George and Anna Frey; and brothers-in-law, George Jr. and Ralph Frey.
