Carol Ann Arter

Carol Ann Arter, age 70, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, of an apparent heart attack.

She was born to the late Loraine Huebner (Schowalter) and the late August Huebner on July 25, 1943. She worked most of her life as an Administrative Assistant for Sensenbrenner Design in Appleton, WI. She spent her later years working at Kohl's department store in Madison's west side.

She enjoyed nature, gardening, art and crafts, holidays, going to Door County, and being with her family. Carol will always be remembered for her kind heart, patience, creativity, hard working nature, love of animals, and for the way she entertained her grandson, Aaron. She was a wonderful grandma. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Michael and Todd Arter; her daughter Deb Arter (Jeff Marcus); her 5 grandchildren, Ariel Arter, Brandon Arter, Aaron Marcus, Jessica Temple, and Jacob Temple; and her great grandson, Paul James; and 4 cousins.

A private service was held Nov 1, 2013 at Cress Funeral home for the family.
