Buckeyes add to Badger road woes, 2-1

COLUMBUS, OH -

Tyler Lundey and Darik Angeli scored as Ohio State defeated Wisconsin in Big Ten Men's Hockey game in Columbus, Ohio Friday night.

Lundey, from Middleton, Wisconsin, scored just over two minutes into the first period and he added an assist on Angeli's goal later in the first period.

The Badgers got their only score of the night in the third period when Michael Mersch scored on assists from Frankie Simonelli and Jefferson Dahl at 3:42.

But Wisconsin couldn't get the tying goal.

Joel Rumpel made 28 saves in goal for the Badgers. Christian Frey had 29 saves for Ohio State.

The Badgers are now just 1-7-1 on the road this season. Wisconsin is 15-2-1 at the Kohl Center.
