Published On: Apr 28 2013 10:51:17 PM CDT

MILWAUKEE -

Marquette head coach Buzz Williams will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before a Milwaukee Brewers game this week.

The Brewers are honoring the Marquette University men's basketball team on the field before the game against the Pittsburgh Pirates game Monday night.

Besides the pitch, members of the team will join Williams on the field for a pre-game recognition.

The Golden Eagles were the regular season Big East co-champions and advanced to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament last month.

The team finished with an overall record of 26-9 and currently has the second longest home winning streak in the nation at 25 games.
