Braun's walk-off hit gives Brewers 50th win

Ryan Braun's line drive single to center with two outs in the ninth gave the Milwaukee Brewers a 3-2 win over the Colorado Rockies at Miler Park Friday night.

The Brewers were two outs away from winning it in the top of the ninth, but closer Francisco Rodriguez gave up a home run to the Rockies' Jsoh Rutledge to tie the game at 2.

The blown save prevented Kyle Lohse from getting his 10th win of the season.

But in the bottom of the ninth, Mark Reynolds led off with a single to left. Jean Segura sacrificed Reynolds to second, then pinch hitter Scooter Gennett was intentionally walked.

After a passed ball advanced runners to second and third, Rickie Weeks struck out.

Then, Braun ended the game with the run scoring single off Rockies reliever Matt Belisle.

Rodriguez picked up the win in relief after only his third blown save of the season. Rodriguez is one save away from Francisco Cordero's club record 27 saves set in the 2007 season.

The Brewers are now 50-32 and are the first team in major league baseball this season to win 50 games.
