Beverly Lynn Gill

Belleville, WI/Beverly Lynn Gill of Belleville ended her long struggle with cancer on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the home of her sister Joanne Lien of Brooklyn, WI surrounded by her loving family.

Bev was born August 16, 1948 in Madison, WI to Robert and Betty (Pearman) Gill, who farmed near Belleville. She attended a one-room elementary school, Oak Grove, just up the road from the family farm until 8th grade, and then attended Belleville Public Schools, graduating in 1966. Bev was employed for 27 years by Thermo (Nicolet) Electron Corporation, Madison, WI; Parts Now, Madison, WI, and Walmart, (Westside) Madison, WI. She was previously married to Robert Miller, Jr. of Belleville, WI. He died in 1997.

Bev is survived by her sons Scott Miller of Belleville, WI, John of Oshkosh, WI, and Kirk (Leaora) Miller of Monticello, WI. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Adam (Rita) Miller, Bradley Miller, Joshua Miller, Shelley Miller, Alyssa Miller, Silas Miller, Jade Miller, Kristofer Miller, and Kassidy Miller; and three great-granddaughters, Lacey Miller, Mckailee Miller, and Klohe Miller. She is also survived by her mother, Betty Gill of Belleville, WI, four sisters; Joanne (Gary) Lien of Brooklyn, WI, Judy (Gary) Swanson of Longview, WA, Marilyn Gill of Fort Atkinson, WI, and Susan (Scott) Bradley of Fort Atkinson, WI; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, an uncle, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Gill, a sister Shirley Gill, and a great-grandson Riley Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 246 W. Pearl St., Belleville, WI with burial in the Belleville Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Belleville.
The Becker-Beal Funeral Home of Belleville is assisting the family.

The family wants to especially thank Bev’s former daughter-in-law, Michelle Miller as well as the staff at AgraceHospiceCare, Inc., especially Adele, Therese, and Nicki for their kind, loving care of Bev and her family.
