Beverly J. Venable

JANESVILLE --- Beverly J. Venable, age 77, of Wisconsin Dells and formerly of Janesville, died on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at St. Clare Hospital, Baraboo.

She was born in Fort Atkinson on Oct. 8, 1935, the daughter of Willard and Esther (Klug) Fleck. Beverly married Kenneth G. Venable, Jr. in St. John Lutheran Church, Janesville on Nov. 28, 1953. She cherished her entire family and loved cooking for her family. She also loved fishing, bingo, gambling, camping, traveling south for the winter and playing cards online.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Ken Venable of Wisconsin Dells; 6 children: Debbie (Paul) McCumber of Janesville, Cindy (Gary Selje) Humphrey of Janesville; Kenneth G. Venable, III of Wisconsin Dells, Shelly (Bruce) Thomas of Elkhorn, Joleen Venable of Janesville and Paul Venable of Janesville; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Laurie; 2 brothers, Wayne Fleck and Kenneth Fleck; and sister, Barbara Fleck.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Rev. Bond Haldeman officiating.

Interment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY.
