MADISON, Wis. -

News3 photojournalist Jeremy Nichols set up three hidden cameras for the News 3 Investigates special, "Inside the Pitch," which chronicled a high-stakes sales pitch designed to convince an area woman to transfer her timeshare deed for a fee of $4,995.

The pictures were taken from the point of view of Mike Lacore, the Freedom Choice Solutions salesman, before he arrived at the home.

The sound for the conversation was recorded by a wireless microphone placed inside the fruit bowl.

Beyond the table on the kitchen island, there is a book sitting on top of a piece of Tupperware. Inside that Tupperware is a video camera.

A second camera was not moved for the occasion. It normally lives in the cabinet above the woman's phone, which is why it blended in so easily.

Both of those cameras were unmanned for the purposes of this undercover shoot. Jeremy operated the third camera. His News3 station camera was on the other side of the glass door facing the kitchen during the pitch. The camera and those involved in the pitch were only separated by a plant and an outdoor patio.
