Badgers vs. South Carolina in Capital One Bowl

Published On: Dec 08 2013 10:35:50 PM CST

The Wisconsin Badger football team will face South Carolina in the Capital One Bowl on Wednesday, January 1 at noon central time.

The Badgers will take their fifth trip to Orlando in the last nine seasons. Wisconsin is 3-1 in four trips to the Capital One Bowl- the most recent was 2006 when Barry Alvarez coached Wisconsin to a 24-10 win over Auburn.

The 19th ranked Badgers (9-3) face the 8th ranked Gamecocks (10-2) which feature head Coach Steve Spurrier and All-American linebacker Jadeveon Clowney.

It's the 12th straight year the Badgers have made a bowl game.

A win would give Wisconsin 10 wins for the fourth time in the last five years.
