The No. 2 Wisconsin Women's Hockey team continued to roll Saturday, scoring a 3-2 win over Ohio State. Brittany Ammerman scored two goals for Wisconsin.

Ammerman's first goal came in the opening period. The Badgers out shot the Buckeyes 12-2 in the opening frame.

With Wisconsin leading 1-0 in the second period, Sarah Nurse scored to stretch the lead to 2-0. OSU refused to quit, answering the Badgers' goal with a goal of their own to cut the Wisconsin lead in half.

In the third period, Ammerman slammed the door shut with her second goal of the game. Alex Rigsby had 23 saves in her 13th win of the year.

UW takes the ice next weekend in a home series against No. 1-ranked Minnesota. The series begins at LaBahn Arena on Friday at 7 p.m. before concluding with the Fill the Bowl game at the Kohl Center on Saturday at 7 p.m.
