Badger women defeat Indiana, 65-60

Jackie Gulczynski scored 23 points, had 13 rebounds and six blocked shots as the Wisconsin Badger women's basketball team defeated Indiana, 65-60 at the Kohl Center Wednesday night.

The game had 10 ties and 12 lead changes and Indiana had a seven-point lead early in the second half.

But the Badgers shot 50 percent from the field in the second half and eventually took a 56-55 lead on Michala Johnson's layup with 2:07 left.

Gulczynski made another basket at the 1:45 mark to give Wisconsin a 59-55 lead and held on as Nicole Bauman and Morgan Paige both made two free throws in the final minute.

Paige was only 2 for 12 from the field, but scored 11 points for the Badgers.

Wisconsin is now 9-7 overall and 2-2 in the Big Ten. Indiana drops to 14-2 overall and 1-2 in the Big Ten.

The Badgers' next game is Saturday at Northwestern at 2 pm.
