Another Badger football night game

Published On: May 06 2013 09:24:49 PM CDT

Wisconsin’s football game at Illinois on Oct. 19 will start at 7 p.m. CT and be televised by BTN.

With the earlier announcement by ESPN that the Badgers’ game at Ohio State will also be played at night, UW has multiple prime time games for the seventh-straight season.

This will mark the first night game in the Wisconsin-Illinois series, which dates back to 1895.

The all-time series between the teams is tied, 36-36-7, with the Badgers winning seven of the last eight games.

UW has won six of the last eight meetings in Champaign, dating back to 1993.

Overall, Wisconsin owns a 37-25 record in night games.

Dating back to 1995, the Badgers are 31-6 in their last 37 games at night.

With ESPN’s announcement last week and today’s announcement by BTN, no other 2013 Big Ten home football games will be scheduled in prime time.
