WISC EDITORIAL AGENDA 2013 – THE VIEWERS AGENDA

01/21/13

Last week we introduced our editorial agenda for the coming year. In review, we intended to give special attention this year to issues of Our Climate, Our Schools, Our Government and Our Region, in particular controlling carbon emissions, an inclusive schools discussion with a continued commitment to Schools of Hope, redistricting reform, and the Advance Now regional economic development strategy.

But we also want to acknowledge other great suggestions we got from viewers. Health care costs, local and sustainable food production, mental health issues…just to name a few all deserve, and will get, our attention. In fact we’re going to recognize these issues when you bring them to our attention with a special agenda item…The Viewers Agenda. You let us know what’s on your mind and we will discuss it and we will respond. Thanks for all of your input over the last few weeks, and for joining us in exploring our agenda for 2013.
