WISC EDITORIAL AGENDA 2012 - TIME FOR KIDS/ CHAMPION FOR CHILDREN

12/12/12

We know this time of year is, among other things, a time of seemingly endless requests for charitable giving. Organizations of every stripe are vying for a portion of your end of the year dollars, and virtually all of them are worthy. Never the less, we’d like to add another for your consideration.

The Celebrate Children Foundation is dedicated to helping Wisconsin communities create effective early learning systems for kids birth to five, that critical time in a child’s development. When you think about long-term health outcomes, school readiness and healthy human development you know how important this work is and the Celebrate Children Foundation is good at it. Very good at it. They have a campaign going through January to raise a modest 30-thousand dollars for early childhood programs. Badger football legend Ron Dayne is the honorary chair. We encourage you to help. You can find more information at www.celebrate-children.org. As you know we’re all about Time for Kids. We can’t think of a better way to do just that.
