Morning Reporter/Anchor: Do you start your day with a smile? Share it with our viewers. WISC-TV is looking for an enterprising general assignment television news reporter with the ability to tell compelling stories.  We are looking for a high-energy, creative storyteller who is ready to wake up the market with engaging live shots. Daily assignments will cover a wide spectrum from light to serious topics. This person will be a full member of our morning team and will be the primary fill-in anchor for our 2.5-hour morning newscast. Duties include turning stories on a daily basis, live reporting, and covering breaking news situations. In addition to our television newscasts, we place a strong emphasis on our award-winning website, htpp:// our social networking efforts and our growing mobile digital content. We expect this position to provide on-going content contributions to all offerings.  The ideal candidate will work primarily with a photographer but should be a skilled MMJ as well.  This position requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record and could involve weekend and evening hours. Candidates for consideration will have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field, 1-2 years news reporting and anchoring, the ability to turn stories on deadline, and live reporting experience.  Prior anchoring experience is a plus.

 Senior Producer:-WISC-TV is aggressively searching for a Senior Producer to lead our 2.5 hour morning show. This supervisory position will work with our overnight producer to build a dynamic, energetic, and engaging morning show.  This person will also plan and set-up future shows, including the scheduling of remote guests, studio guests, anchor live shots, sweeps story development, and special events planning. You’ll serve as a coach and mentor to the news staff and work closely with our technical crew on presentation. Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker who can motivate our staff and produce compelling television. We prefer applicants with 2 years producing experience and a college degree.

Morning News Anchor: WISC-TV, Southern Wisconsin’s news leader, is aggressively looking for an Anchor to lead our morning newscasts from 430am to 7am.  We are seeking a strong journalist to champion our newscasts on TV, online and through social media. This person must understand the changing role of a television anchor and how to engage audiences across multiple platforms.  Qualifications include anchor and reporting experience, proficient in live shots, strong writer, and ability to work with others in a deadline situation.  We place a strong emphasis on enterprise reporting. Minimum of 3 years anchor experience preferred. Previous work on a morning show is a plus.  In addition, our award-winning website, leads the market and we place a premium on breaking stories online and through social media.
