Morning News Anchor: WISC-TV, Southern Wisconsin’s news leader, is aggressively looking for an Anchor to lead our morning newscasts from 430am to 7am.  We are seeking a strong journalist to champion our newscasts on TV, online and through social media. This person must understand the changing role of a television anchor and how to engage audiences across multiple platforms.  Qualifications include anchor and reporting experience, proficient in live shots, strong writer, and ability to work with others in a deadline situation.  We place a strong emphasis on enterprise reporting. Minimum of 3 years anchor experience preferred. Previous work on a morning show is a plus.  In addition, our award-winning website, http://www.channel3000.com leads the market and we place a premium on breaking stories online and through social media.  . Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker who can blend local and national and international news with interesting guest segments and unique live remotes. Prefer applicants with 2 years experience and college degree.  Candidate must be willing to handle unique work schedule of 11:00pm-7:00am.
