Taliliyonna Staar Garrett

MADISON - Taliliyonna “Lily” Staar Garrett unexpectedly departed this life on Thursday, February 14, 2013 which was too early and too soon, before her life had really begun. Lily was born September 13, 2011 in Madison Wisconsin.

She leaves to cherish her father Tyree Lamar Garrett and her mother Raya Marie Hansen. She was one of seven children and leaves to cherish her memory four sisters: Tanisha Niquan Thomas, Taliyah Adriana Garrett, Tyonna Vivilon Garrett and Maria Yvonne Ruby Garrett all of Madison Wisconsin; Two brothers, Isaiah Foges and Tyree Lamar Garrett Jr. of Madison Wisconsin. Paternal grandparents: Yvonne Garrett of Madison Wisconsin, Johnnie Collins III (Jean) of Jackson Tennessee. Five aunts: Nicquan Gutierrez (Adam), Madison WI; Yolanda Burroughs (Mike), Atlanta GA; Kara Gorshek, Las Vegas NV; Kori Gorshek; and Dana Trice, Jackson TN. Two uncles: Lavell Garrett, Milwaukee WI and Anthony Strother Collins, Jackson TN. Maternal grandparents are Mary (Benny) Perez of Sparta WI and Jaco Hansen of Madison WI. Two maternal aunts: Staareze (Trevor) Mickelson of DeForrest WI and Kelly Hansen, Madison WI. One maternal uncle: Jayco “Jake” Hanson, Madison WI. She is preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents Roosevelt and Ruby Garrett and maternal great-grandmother, Donna Tremain.

A special “Thank You” to Amber Kuter for her ongoing love, and support to the life of Lily.

Lily also leaves to cherish her memory a host of family and friends.

Services will be held at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave, Madison, at 2:OOPM on Friday, February 22, 2013, with Rev. Adam Gutierrez presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:OOPM until the time of the service on Friday.  “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
