Published On: Mar 20 2013 02:22:34 PM CDT

REESEVILLE-Ryan Patrick “Ry” Heidner, age 29, of Reeseville, died Monday morning, March 18, 2013 in an automobile accident in Dodge County. He was born April 26, 1983, in Madison, the son of Jerome and Dawn (Meddings) Heidner.

Ryan attended Dodgeland High School, graduating in 2001. He was always outdoors, going fishing, going on hikes with family and walks with his dog, Rocky. He was an avid sports fan of the Packers, Brewers, and Michigan- always wearing his Michigan gear. Ryan enjoyed cars and working on them. He was the center of movie nights and watching scary movies with his big bowl of cereal. Ryan always had an infectious laugh and always made you smile with his unique sense of humor. Above all, Ryan loved his daughter, Leila, more than anything in the world and spending time with her doing her favorite things- feeding the deer, swimming in the summer, and crafts with her daddy.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Jerome and Dawn; two brothers, Jacob and Jordan; a daughter, Leila; his grandmother, Sonja Hildestad; and numerous extended family, including aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, William and Agnes Meddings; his grandparents, Arthur and Mary Ruth Heidner; and grandfather, Jerome Hildestad.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue, Madison. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service.
