RoseMary Mitchell, age 87 of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, formerly of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the St. Clare Hospice House of Baraboo, Wisconsin.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 10, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lyndon Station with Father Valentine Joseph and Father Larry Bowens celebrating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Conway Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station on Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 2 to 5 P.M. with the rosary recited at 4:30 P.M. and on Monday from 10 to 11:15 A.M. followed by procession to the church

RoseMary was born May 18, 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the daughter of Stephen and Edith (Fohey) Hondel and graduated from West Milwaukee High School. RoseMary married Joseph Mitchell in October of 1948 and they spent many happy years together on their rural Lyndon Station farm and also traveled around the world. Joe preceded her in death in March of 1998. RoseMary enjoyed reading, watching movies and television, doing puzzles and baking. She was a past member of the Maurice C. Havey VFW Auxiliary, St. Mary’s Altar Sodality, and the FFA Alumni. Rosemary touched many lives and was good to a lot of people.

Rosemary is survived by a brother, Frank Hondel of Reedsburg; a special niece, Ann (Jeff) Lankey of Union Center, Wisconsin; a special friend and neighbor, Joan Check and family of Reedsburg; and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Tim; a brother, Joseph and a sister in law, Barb Hondel.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Home Health United Hospice of Baraboo would be appreciated.
