Raymond Norman Burnham

Raymond Norman Burnham, 66, of Reedsburg, formerly of Richland Center, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Belmont Nursing Home in Madison. He was born January 27, 1947 the son of Charles and Marjorie (Miller) Burnham. Ray enlisted in the US Navy serving at the Navy Pier in Chicago. He worked at the University of Wisconsin as a janitor for many years. Ray enjoyed fishing, doing crosswords, playing cards, and watching television, especially wrestling.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather (Kevin) Kelley of Reedsburg, three grandchildren, Benjamin, Paige, Abby, Brothers and sister: Sandra (Eugene) Cooke of Baraboo, Dale Burnham of Richland Center, James (Julie) Burnham of Viola, six nieces, Tara Burnham, Jamie Cooke, Tracey Burnham, Laura Burnham, Megan Burnham and Janelle Burnham, two great nieces, two great nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joe, and two nieces.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with Reverend Craig Peach officiating. Military will be conducted by the Local Military Memorial Honors Unit. Friends may call on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service of Richland Center is assisting the family with their arrangements. Online condolences can be made at prattfuneralservice.com
