A victim suffered minor injuries Tuesday afternoon when two men robbed him after he gave them a ride, according to Madison police.

The incident happened just after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 6700 block of Jacobs Way.

According to police, the two men had handguns and tried to rob the driver, but didn't get away with anything of value.

Police said this doesn't appear to be a random incident. The victim was treated at an area hospital for minor injuries.
