Northern Michigan rallies past Wisconsin

GREEN BAY, Wis. -

Northern Michigan scored three times in less than seven minutes of the third period to beat Wisconsin 4-2 on Saturday in men's college hockey.

With Northern Michigan (2-0-0) trailing 2-1, Matt Thurber scored at 12:18, followed by Kory Kaunisto at 13:25, and Ryan Daugherty at 18:52.

The Badgers (0-2-0) managed to put just two shots on goal in the third period and 20 overall. The Wildcats took 31 shot against Badgers goalie Landon Peterson, who made 27 saves.

Jared Coreau had 18 stops for the Wildcats.

Cohen Adair, who scored the game-winner in Friday's 2-1 Wildcats' win, had a second-period goal.
