Nelson J. “Randy” Renard

POYNETTE/LODI/MADISON/GREEN BAY- Nelson J. “Randy” Renard, age 70, of Poynette, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and his pet dogs Casey and Toby on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. He was born on July 4, 1942 in Green Bay, the son of Yvonne and Nelson Renard. Randy married Darlene LaCombe on September 17, 1973. He graduated from Premontre High School in Green Bay. Randy worked for more than 40 years in the Automotive Industry, including dealerships; Van Boxtel in Green Bay, Middleton Motors in Middleton and retired from Zimbrick Inc. in 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Clark (Mary) Heindl, Deb (Keith) Bratel, Gregory (Robin) Heindl, Jodi (Steve) Davis, Randy (Pam) Renard; grandchildren, Jameson and Cora Mitchell, Carolyn Heindl, Alexandra Peltier, Samantha and Bridget Bratel, Jennifer (Mike) Sweeney, Tyler Heindl, Mitchel Jr. and Walter “Jake” Wichser, Katie Renard; great grandchildren, Haylie Wichser and Kaelyn Sweeney; brother, David (Jean) Renard; sisters, Sandy Cain, Ellen (Al) Pelkin, Rene (Jeff) Campbell, Shawn (Harry) Stordeur. Randy was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service will be held at DEKORRA LUTHERAN CHURCH, N3099 Smith Road, Poynette at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 9, 2013 with Reverend Ryan Rouse presiding. Visitation will be held at the HAMRE GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 157 S. Main St., Lodi from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Friday, February 8, 2013 and again on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Special Olympics in Randy’s name or a charity of the donor’s choice.
