STOUGHTON- Nancy Reyes, age 34, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 9 in Stoughton. Nancy was born on May 5, 1978, in Ogden, Utah to Manuel Jr. and Nora Reyes. She moved with her family to Madison in 1981, and attended school on the east side of Madison through her sophomore year. She attended Stoughton High School where she graduated in 1996. Nancy furthered her education at The University of Wisconsin-Madison graduating with a bachelor of science in Nursing. She worked at Skaalen Home in Stoughton for five years and then worked at St. Mary’s Care Center in Fitchburg until the present. Nancy strongly believed in allowing the residents to retain their autonomy and dignity under her care. She loved learning, reading, quoting movie lines, baking, and laughing with her family. While she was proud of her BSN title; her favorite title was that of Aunt Nancy or Aunt CeCe. She was passionate about loving and spoiling her nine nieces and nephews. Nancy had a profound influence on these children that will be felt for generations.

Nancy is survived by her parents; siblings, Manuel III (Cynthia), Tara (Stephen) Flint, and Steven (Callie) Reyes; grandmother, Velma Kunz; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Manuel and Rosa Reyes and William Dean.

Funeral services for Nancy will be held at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, 5602 Irongate Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Gunderson_Funeral Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, as well as at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Visitation:
Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, as well as at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.

Service:
Funeral services for Nancy will be held at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, 5602 Irongate Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012.

Cemetery:
Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
