Namik Riza

MADISON-Namik Riza, age 57, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at UW Hospital in Madison. He was born on Sept. 16, 1955, in Kosova, the son of Zenel and Magbule (Zherka) Riza. He married Ajsel Safciu on June 18, 1989, in Kosova. Namik loved music, singing, history and the sciences.

He is survived by his wife, Ajsel; children, Fjolla and Haris; brother Petrit Riza; sister, Bisere; nieces and nephews; other relatives; many friends; and the Albanian community of Madison.

Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013.
