Mildred "Billie" Roeth

Madison- Mildred “Billie” Roeth, age 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. She was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on May 31, 1944, the daughter of William and Edith (Hoerner) Kreisler. She married Donald Roeth on August 4, 1962, in Dubuque, Iowa. Billie worked for Madison Metro from 1975 until her retirement in 1988. She enjoyed travelling, playing cards and bingo, cooking, and baking. Most of all, she will be remembered for her love of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Don; children, Bill (Bridgit), Polly, and Ricky (Jennifer); five grandchildren, Sara, Andrew, Beau, Ryan, and Emilee; sisters, Sandra (Romaine) Ace, and Carol (Dick) Holler; brothers, Robert (Sharon) Kreisler, and Michael Kreisler; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donnie, Jr.; parents, William and Edith; and a brother, Fred.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave., with Msgr. Michael Hippee presiding. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., and also from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church on Saturday.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc.
