Michael "Mike" L. Weiss, age 92, died December 30, 2012 at Agrace HospiceCare Inc, Madison. He was born on January 7, 1920 in Plain, WI the son of the late Alois and Mary (Brickl) Weiss. He was united in marriage to Catherine Endres on November 27, 1941. Mike was a lifelong farmer, drove school bus for many years, was a member of Sauk County Board, St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He most enjoyed farming, his sweet corn season and playing cards. His special friend, Jim Frey, helped make sure Mike could have the morning coffee session with the gang at Leystra's.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Catherine, five children; Michael R. Weiss, Kenneth Weiss, Jane (Mike) O'Donnell, Donald (Ellen) Weiss and Allen (Brenda) Weiss,

seven grandchildren; Dennis O'Donnell, Mark (Sara) O'Donnell, Steven (Diamilet) O'Donnell, Richard (Jody) Weiss, Lisa (Andy) Niesen, Ryan and Melissa Weiss,

four great-grandchildren; Wilson, Collin, Thomas and Jamieson, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by five brothers; Leo, Al, Benno, Corbin and Luke and three sisters; Anna Dahmen, Sr. Mary Justine and Marie Bindl.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Jan. 4 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City with Fr. John Blewett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3 at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City where a K.C. rosary will be held at 3:30 p.m. Memorials are preferred to American Heart Assoc. or Agrace HospiceCare Inc.
