MADISON-Mary Lou Haas, age 58, went home to Jesus on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012. She was born on Oct. 9, 1954, in Plain, the daughter of LaVerne and Luella (Bauer) Haas. A hairdresser for thirty years, she also worked at St. Vincent de Paul, Langdon dorms, and UW Hospital food service. Mary Lou loved shopping at St. Vinnie’s, meeting people, as well as baking and crocheting. She loved to make joy her aim. Mary Lou was an active member of Madison Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

Mary Lou is survived by her siblings, Gary, Mike, Bob (Laurie), Dennis, Theresa, Julie (Kent) Prather, and David (Wendy) along with two nieces, Montana and Mikayla; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at ST. PATRICK’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 404 E. Main St., at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made to Cathedral Parish, St. Vincent de Paul, Madison Catholic Charismatic Renewal, or Relevant Radio.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to her friends that have help her throughout the years, to Dr. Robert Hegeman and Dr. Kilpatrick and all those who said a prayer or lit a candle for Mary Lou. On-line condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
