MONONA-Marion Ellen Schumacher, age 92, loving wife of former Monona Mayor, Marvin Schumacher, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Serenity Homes in Stoughton.

Marion is survived by her children, Jon (Sally) Schumacher of Loyalton, Calif., Jim (Linda) Schumacher of Clinton, WI, Ann Miller of Pagosa Springs, Colo., Paul (Sally) Schumacher of Winnemucca, Nev., Laurie (David) Benson of Janesville, and Alice Derra of Madison; sister, Hazel Breitenbach of Columbia, Mo.

Memorial services will be held at MONONA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 606 Nichols Road, Monona, at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013, with the Rev. David Byers-Dent presiding. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013, and also at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
