JANESVILLE, Wis. -

A man robbed a Walgreens store in Janesville for oxycodone Thursday.

Janesville officers responded about 9:08 a.m. to the Walgreens at 1740 Center Ave.

Police said a man entered the store and handed a note to the pharmacy employee demanding oxycodone.

An employee gave the robber the requested medication, and the robber then fled toward Tremors, where he got into a truck and fled southbound on Center Avenue, according to a Janesville Police Department news release.

Police said the robber is described as a white man, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a medium build and a light-colored brown mustache.

He was wearing a hunter green/black Columbia-type jacket, blue jeans that were frayed at the cuffs and white tennis shoes, police said.

The vehicle is described as a pewter full-sized Chevrolet truck with a diamond-plated tool box in the back.
