Man killed in Adams Co. crash

TOWN OF SPRINGVILLE, Wis. -

A 27-year-old Wisconsin Dells man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning.

The Adams County Sheriff's Office said it received a report of a crash at about 12:44 a.m. on County Highway Z south of Fern Avenue in the Town of Springville.

Sheriff's officials said Jeffrey Hatcher was driving northbound when his vehicle entered the ditch, struck and tree and overturned.

Hatcher was fatally injured in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical examiner.

The Adams County Sheriff's Office said speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
