Man has shirt stolen off his back

MADISON, Wis. -

Police said they're investigating a robbery that left the victim without a shirt on his back on a major Madison thoroughfare.

The incident happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday night in the 2600 block of East Washington Avenue, according to police.

Police said the victim and two friends were riding a city bus when they got off at East Washington near Milwaukee Street.

Police said two men who also been on the bus came after the victim, demanded money, and took his shirt off after a fight. Police said one of the culprits also displayed a handgun during the incident.

Police were unsuccessful using a K-9 unit to track down the men involved. If you know anything about this incident, police ask you to call Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.
