Mabel E Peters

Remembering Mabel Ethel Peters (nee Davis) 94 formerly of Mauston, passed peacefully late Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at home. She was born July 17, 1918 in Lodi, Wisconsin. Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, Harold William Peters whom she married on Aug. 29, 1940. During the 56 years together, they did a lot of traveling, took their 4 children and moved to Ca. in 1951. Mabel worked in Penta Labs where they made picture tubes. They returned to Mauston in November of 1963. Mabel was very active in Bethany Lutheran Church in New Lisbon. She enjoyed her Lady's Circle Club; she delivered Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Lion’s Club. She enjoyed working in her yard and the many family gatherings and visits from the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mabel is survived by her children, Sharon Wells of Lockport, Ill, Daniel Peters of Mauston and Robert Peters of Mauston, 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her daughter Kay Norita McDonnal (Peters) whom preceded her in death on May 19, 1981, brother, Larry Davis, sister, Helen Hofer.

We thank you for so many memorable vacations you and Dad took us on. We have been blessed to have so many wonderful memories through the years. You will remain in our hearts forever Mom and we will miss you and We Love You very much.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Crandall Funeral Home, Mauston where friends may call on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.

Burial will be at the Mauston Cemetery.
