MG wins Badger South conference

STOUGHTON -

The Monona Grove Silver Eagles won their second straight Badger South Conference girls basketball title Thursday night with a 46-40 win over Stoughton.

Baraboo locked up the Badger North girls basketball title with a 73-68 win over DeForest.

Janesville Parker defeated Janesville Craig 46-36 to win the Big Eight Conference championship. The Vikings finished the regular season with a 17 and 1 record.

Verona defeated Madison West 50-40, so the Wildcats finish second in the Big Eight with a 16-2 record.
