MG girls stop Milton

MILTON -

The Monona Grove girls basketball team stayed in first place in the Badger South conference with a 57-44 win at Milton Monday night.

The Silver Eagles had a 27-24 lead at halftime before pulling away in the second half.

MG is now 9-1 in the conference, a half-game ahead of Madison Edgewood. Milton is 6-4 in the Badger South.

Thursday night, Milton and MG play again, this time in Monona. It will be the Prep Mania Game of the Week - live on channel3000.com at 7:30 PM
