Middleton-John "Jay" Wood, age 59, went home to the lord, to be a soldier for God, on Thursday, November 22, 2012. He was born on January 26, 1953 in Los Angeles, CA, the son of John and Nellie (Stadler) Wood. John had the biggest heart. He was incredibly loving and will be dearly missed.

John is survived by his wife, Gail Wood; his son, Jeff Wood; his stepson, Shane Haddix; brother, George (Jodie) Wood; sister, Cathy Wood; nephews, James Wood and Jesse Wood; and many other loving family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the WILLOWS, corner of 5485 Willow Rd and Cnty Rd M, on December 15, 2012 at 2:00pm
